Funding

The production costs of the publication projects are covered by mdwPress up to a maximum of EUR 8,000, depending on the funds available. For print books, this includes the costs for typesetting, printing and distribution.

Additional services such as translations or professional editing/proofreading are not included for print books. Purely digital publication projects can receive up to a maximum of EUR 3,000 from mdwPress funding.

The aim of mdwPress funding is to support book projects by early stage researchers in particular.

If third-party funding or other funding is available for the publication, this is to be prioritised.
